the humble abode

Wren lives in a studio space: it's minimal, industrial, with just a few touches of decadence. The house itself isn't large and it only has the bathroom and the main room: everything flows into each other.
For such an aging goth kid, it's got a LOT of light. Saves on electricity.

You can look straight across onto a particularly rocky stretch of coast from the living space.

Wren has a collection of oddities (a Wunderkammer). One of them is a lyre not unlike this one made out of a skull. The shelves are stuffed with ossuaries, jewelry, totems, ancient hoax skeletons, and behind that there are books on all kinds of subjects, especially mythology and art as well as just a few rare copies of beloved authors' works.

The books spill over into plumbing that doubles as shelving.

One corner has a LOT of varied instruments, mostly strung.
Nearby there's a record collection (along with CDs and cassettes).

The bed's iron filigree.

Look, cutting corners is okay, but not on the tub. Or the mirror across from it.
